BRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!! Despite the cold weather the Striper fishing is just heating up. As the water temperature continues to drop the fishing has steadily improved the last couple of weeks. We are still available for charter until mid January.

Wahoooooo's a 60 pound hoo and 2 40 ponders plus 12 nice dolphins. The fishing continues to be good. We will be running trips through December.

We have been busy fishing the last two weeks. The great tuna fishing continues to be red hot. Along with the great tuna fishing the marlin fishing continues to improve. We caught a White and Blue Marlin on our July 20th trip along with 3 50 pound Yellowfin. We caught our largest Yellowfin of the year on our July 14th trip the fished weighted 71 pounds and we had 6 more Yellowfins on the trip.

Fishing continues to be red hot. We fished over the weekend and had a great trip both days. We caught 20 yellowfin tuna a 110 pound mako shark and released 2 white marlin in two days of fishing.

Inshore Bluefin Tuna are Here!

We had the pleasure of taking a family from Florida on an inshore trip this week. We caught our first Bluefin within the first ten minutes of putting lines in the water. A nice 50 pound Bluefin in the box. We released 5 more over the next hour or so. Unfortunately the crew started to tell bad and we had to return to the dock early.

TUNA TUNA TUNA

What an amazing holiday weekend in Ocean City. The tuna have arrived producing catches of tuna like we haven't seen in years. We fished on Monday and caught at least 50 tuna both Yellowfin and Bluefin tuna along with Atlantic Bonita. We had action all day with multiple hook ups of 5 and 6 tuna at once. After all the dust settled we had 9 Yellowfins, 1 Bluefin and 5 Atlantic Bonita in the box. Not only is the Tuna fishing red hot, the shark fishing is very good right now with multiple Mako's hitting the dock over the weekend throughout Ocean City.

Custom Fish Box Project-Day One

This is day one of our new custom fish box for the Samurai. Its made by local craftsman, Mark Radcliffe, out of Coosa Composites, insulted between layers. We did some major cutting, grinding and fitting. After a couple hours of making a total mess of fiberglass and coosa board we had the box fitting properly. Will post more photos once the project is finished.

Ocean City Shark Tournament June 15th - 19th

We are looking for participants to fish aboard the Samurai for this years Ocean City Shark Tournament. The tournament format calls for fishing 2 out of 3 days with the first fishing day on Thursday June 16th and the final fishing day on June 18 . The awards dinner is on Sunday with an all you can eat crab feast. The tournament is held out of our home marina and we will be in the heart of all the action. If you are interested give me a call for all the details.
